Although it is just the beginning of the charter season, the Cannes Film Festival brought together many superyachts and big cruise ship.

This photo of the Baie de Cannes was taken today: cruise ship, superyacht, italian motoryacht, sailboat, chase boat are all at anchor and it is just the same near the Lerins islands and the Cap d'Antibes with MY Virginian, MY Enigma, MY Fortunate Star, MY Siren, MY Meamina and so many others...

Many superyacht are coming from the not so far harbour of Monaco Port Hercule.
Saudian, American and Indian owners...but where are the Russians ?

The Cannes Fim Festival opened yesterday with 3D animation comedy "Up".

According to a recent article published on Reuters UK "Vanity Fair's exclusive party has been canceled, luxury yachts moored at the picturesque harbor remain unchartered and movie executives are sounding a note of caution on the eve of the world's biggest film festival."

As fas as we know, a famous steel mogul would have cancelled his participation in the Monaco Grand Prix.
