Yacht broker incentive
The superyacht market is a bit nervous at the moment because of the credit crunch combined to the subprime crisis. There are many boats for sale on the market and potential clients are taking the time to shop around and negotiate the best deal.
Despite strong results on the back of heavy order book and a great 2007 business year for second hand yachts, we have noticed several secondary new market trends:
1. Owners: "Yacht for sale...but don't tell my neighbour about it!"
2. Clients: "I'll think about it and will get back to you"
3. Brokers: "Owner has indicated that he will consider an offer on the Yacht..."
4. Russians: on hold...
5. Shipyards: ?
